On the Login screen hit the sign-in button without entering user id or password and the main freemed menu gets revealed to the guest. From here you can't do much, but you can see recently accessed patients with their private data like social security and date of birth !

Does any body has a fix for that?

Hi, for the past week, have been evaluating Freemed to see if it will work in our practice. I have been very impressed and think it is superior to other opensource EMR software packages. There does appear to be one major oversight unless I'm just missing something. There is no way to print a receipt for a patient. I have patients that need receipts and or statements to show payment history for reimbursement from FLEX plans but the statement function seems only to be available for when there is an open balance. Any suggestions, or is this just not currently available?

I have been away for a few months but have now returned and found and issue with printing via the printer icon on version 0.8.4 I did an new install from svn and I am using Php5 and mysql5. everything works well except when I click the printer Icon the printer module dialog comes up with Printer fax browser print when I click the browser print it does nothing at all. no error message in firefox. I use Internet explorer 7 and the same thing happens except it gives me an error object required error line 288 and any Ideas?

I cannot seem to find information about the template layout used by the "Forms" module.
It looks like it's in XML format that should be stored in data/form/templates but this directory is empty with default install.
An example XML would be great to jump in.
I also checked the forums and the dev wiki but can't seem to find references to this module.

My doc wants to print a cash receipt. Patient walks in, gets treated, pays in full, wants a receipt saying as much. How is this done?

Is there any way I could get exactly the same functionalities as in the demo site ?
I tested the packaged and svn version (0.8.4) version of FreeMED but none of them are exactly the same as the demo site.
For example : when you edit a progress note, the demo site allows to select the provider with a self-filtering list AND let you add one if missing (that's the feature I'm missing). I double check my system & user settings against those of the demo site but cannot figure out where difference come from. On the other side I don't see the reason this is not included at least in the svn

Hi to all,
I've installed freemed 0.8.4 both on xampp both on ubuntu 7 but i'm not able to have the file (jpg for eg.)uploading running for Photographic Identification. I mean that all the process seem to run but at the end, i've not the photo in the Photo Id box.
Again, because i need to view freemed through a mobile device, i need to hack freemed to publish jpg and not djvu due the fact that lizard tech has not plugin for these kind of devices.
May anybody suggest how to solve these issues??

Does anyone know if it is possible to upload and attach a PDF file to a patient record? I know you can add a scanned image under the Scanned Documents but it does not work with PDF files. It only will show the first page of the file.

If this is possible under which "Patient-Configure-Component" must you attach it with?
