Demo site differs from packaged version

Is there any way I could get exactly the same functionalities as in the demo site ?
I tested the packaged and svn version (0.8.4) version of FreeMED but none of them are exactly the same as the demo site.
For example : when you edit a progress note, the demo site allows to select the provider with a self-filtering list AND let you add one if missing (that's the feature I'm missing). I double check my system & user settings against those of the demo site but cannot figure out where difference come from. On the other side I don't see the reason this is not included at least in the svn
This is just an example, there are a few other things from the demo site that I'm missing also.
Any help appreciated ...

Blanket statements like "I tested the packaged and svn version (0.8.4) version of FreeMED but none of them are exactly the same as the demo site" are not helpful :) because that is not true. Most of the svn version and the info site are exactly the same.
However, we would be happy to help you if you have questions.
The plus sign is an ajax widget that only appeared after twenty records had been entered. Since this was a problem for you, the developer has changed the svn version so that the + sign appears all the time. Go to your /usr/share/freemed and do "svn update". Then reload your page.
Let us know how things work and if you have any other questions. We want you to achieve the same functionality at at the demo site.

Thank you for this information. My "blanklet statement" was in fact a question at the time of writing ;-). So I'll get back to the forum if I still miss something from the demo site.
